October is Subaru Loves Pets Month, and Gillman Subaru San Antonio is getting ready to celebrate with Barktoberfest 2026. This annual pet-friendly event brings the local community together to celebrate dogs while supporting Subaru's commitment to helping shelter animals find loving homes. Join us at Gillman Subaru San Antonio on Saturday, October 17, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Celebrate Subaru Loves Pets Month
Barktoberfest is part of the Subaru Loves Pets® initiative and the larger Subaru Love Promise®. Through Subaru Loves Pets, Subaru and participating retailers work with animal welfare organizations to help shelter animals and encourage pet adoption.
The event also celebrates National Make A Dog's Day, an initiative that places special emphasis on helping shelter dogs, including animals that can have a harder time finding permanent homes.
Bring Your Dog to Barktoberfest
Barktoberfest gives you an opportunity to spend a fall day with your four-legged family members and meet other pet lovers from around the San Antonio area. Previous Gillman Subaru San Antonio Barktoberfest celebrations have included free food for owners, dog treats, pet photography, and activities for dogs.
Most importantly, Barktoberfest supports the goal of connecting shelter animals with people who can provide them with permanent homes. If you have been considering adding a dog to your family, the event is an opportunity to learn more about pet adoption while participating in the Subaru Loves Pets celebration.
Join Gillman Subaru San Antonio for Barktoberfest
Barktoberfest is an opportunity to celebrate the bond between people and their pets while supporting an important cause in the community. Contact Gillman Subaru San Antonio for more information about Barktoberfest 2026 and plan to join us on October 17.
