Lockhart, TX: Located about 70 miles northeast of San Antonio, Lockhart is widely known as the home of the best barbecue in the United States. Specifically, Black’s Barbecue is frequently listed as the top barbecue restaurant in the country. Once you’ve finished your spare ribs, let off some steam at the Lone Star Gun Range.
