At the tippy-top of the range is where you'll find the slick and sprightly STI model. Motivated by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder "boxer" engine, the STI makes a monstrous 305 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox is the only one offered on this trim. And, as one might imagine, the STI is quite the performer in the acceleration department, as well, clocking a zero-to-60 mph time of just 5.2 seconds. Seems safe to say that Subaru achieved its goal in creating this dazzling dynamo.
