If you've kept up-to-date with our blog page here at Gillman Subaru San Antonio, you may recall a post from a few months back, in which we told you how we're the principal sponsor for Homes for Pets' 14th Annual Doggie Dash. Since it's been a little bit, we thought we'd offer an update today.
The event was moved from its original date in May and was held on Saturday, June 13, instead. But that postponement sure as heck didn't stop folks from showing up in droves. People from all over the larger Selma, TX area arrived at Pickrell Park in Schertz, they and their furry friends dressed as their favorite superheroes. It was quite the sight, indeed!
Thanks to a stellar turnout, the event was a smashing success. Homes for Pets - a local nonprofit that rescues and provides foster care for abused and abandoned pets - benefitted immensely from the gathering, and for that, we at Gillman Subaru North couldn't be happier.
Three cheers for this incredible, homegrown initiative! For us, it was a true honor to be involved.
