The new 2018 Legacy has a starting MSRP price of $21,995 while the new Honda Accord starts at $22,455. Factor in that the base model Accord comes equipped with manual transmission and the automatic transmission model starts at $23,255 and the price divide grows larger.
  • At base model trim level, the new Legacy offers an estimated 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, compared to the estimated 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg in the city from the Accord.
  • Every Legacy model comes equipped with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The Accord, on the other hand, doesn't offer and all-wheel drive model.
  • The Legacy offers a slightly more spacious cabin than the Accord does.

  • The 2018 Subaru Legacy starts at $21,995 while the new Camry starts at $23,070. That's over $1,000 that you could repurpose into purchasing a higher Legacy trim level.
  • The new Legacy offers standard all-wheel drive on every model. The Toyota Camry does not offer all-wheel drive on any model.
  • Both the Camry and the Legacy come equipped with a standard multimedia system, Toyota Entune and Subaru Starlink, respectively. However, only the Subaru Starlink comes equipped with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Toyota Entune system uses its own Bluetooth system.
  • The Legacy offers a more spacious cabin than the Camry, offering 104.6 cubic feet of passenger volume compared to 100.4 cubic feet of passenger volume from the Camry.
